Stirling is an ambassador for the following charity groups: SPORTING CHANCE CANCER FOUNDATION

The Sporting Chance Cancer Foundation is a non-for-profit organisation committed to financially supporting mobile home care units that help make life easier for children with cancer and a number of research scholarships for doctors and scientists exploring better ways to treat and overcome cancer.
Stirling has been a Director of The Rugby Club Foundation since Sep 2015. He is also Treasurer & Chairman of the Investment Committee and assisted the transition from a physical Club to Rugby’s largest Foundation in Australia.
Following the change in focus and change of name in 2017 the Club (called The Rugby Club Foundation Limited, to better reflect its new principal object and activities) now has a new vision of “Sharing the Spirit of the Game’’ to encourage the sport of Rugby, and, through this vision are increasing financial support of grassroots Rugby across the country.
The Club currently gives financial support to grassroots Rugby programs across NSW.
In the 2020-2021 Financial year the Foundation provided over $450,000 in grants to grassroots Rugby programs, providing opportunities for male and female players, coaches and officials of all ages, abilities and levels of experience, in all formats of Rugby across the State of NSW.
The Rugby Club Foundation looks forward to expanding its grants program across the country in the future.
Since the inception of the Grants Program in 2017, the Foundation has now assisted over 100 grassroots Rugby projects with grants totalling more than $1.75 million as at EOFY 21-22.
